The bands

Early 2001

All Talk

Four middle schoolers, basement four-track demos, and a very short-lived original lineup. The story starts here.

Summer 2001

Wazzu

The band began as Wazzu in summer 2001, recording the six-song Wokka Wokka Demo and handing out CDs to friends.

2001–2002

1 T.B.A.

When Wazzu was added to their first show at the last minute, the flyer listed an open slot as “1 T.B.A.” (one to be announced). The band jokingly adopted it as their name, and what started as a joke stuck. David played guitar and sang alongside Pete on bass and vocals and Jack on drums.

2002

Starting to Wonder

1 T.B.A. continued under a new name, with Scott joining on guitar. The four-piece recorded the unreleased A Change in Heart EP.

2003–2004

Niagras Falling

David moved to lead vocals in this six-piece lineup, which recorded material for an unreleased split EP with Transit and played shows around New Jersey.

2004

Belvedere the Lion Tamer

A five-piece with David on vocals. The band recorded a demo and began a self-titled album that was never completed or released.

2010

David Triggiano (Live Band)

In 2010, David released his self-titled EP, marking his first solo project to feature a full-band sound. The recording was largely a solo effort, with David handling nearly all of the instrumentation. Drumming contributions came from Chris and Jack on select tracks, along with producer Pete, who performed drums on one song.

Following the release, David assembled a five-piece backing band to bring the music to the stage. The live lineup featured David on guitar and vocals, Kate on keyboards, Dan on guitar, Pete on bass, and Chris on drums.

2016

Darkroom Honeymoon

David played bass and sang in this four-piece with guitarists Nick and Jimmy and drummer Erik. The band released a six-song EP in October 2016.
