Brothers in Arms EP
About the recording & credits
The four Niagras Falling songs for this split EP with Transit were recorded at Jerk Records in Middletown, New Jersey. Pete Andrews produced and engineered the sessions. We paid approximately $350 to record all four songs—an incredible bargain in hindsight, but what felt like a fortune to us at the time.

Inhale. Exhale. Repeat. (Niagras Falling)
We pushed nose and forehead against frozen car windows, Stained the naive glass with the blueprints of our imaginations. The moon chased us for miles, Its porcelain skin never blushing from the cold. Clouds in black veils swallowed Our light Our clarity Our innocence. A drawing of radiance A fingernail in the sky. A drawing of radiance A fingernail in the sky. - 02
Drowning (Niagras Falling)
A soft breeze cooled the night The moon full of possibilities, Dominated by the emptiness of the sky Yet my palms sweat. It must be the humidity that I'm drowning in I feel like I can't breathe if not from your breath. And my lips move past yours, But this is not a kiss… And I haven't the courage to go through with it. And my heart beats cautiously in your hands But you return it to mine, along with the power To choose which regret will suit me best, Will suit me best. You know you could kill me. But I'm dieing without you. And I never know what's best for me. And I never know what's best for me. - 03
Destination Denver (Niagras Falling)
So the tightness in my chest has set in And they say that it will pass with time, But who are they to say, Cause all I see is a tense future. The lines between each passing day are blurred And undefineable like your words. Forced through gasps of breath that resonate With each pass through this town we once owned. I need a miracle. These undelivered gifts still lye beside my bed. The cold sets in and I miss you. I’ve tried everything I just can’t shake this, I don’t want to be another statistic, So if we had ten minutes to live, Would you give me two? These undelivered gifts still lye beside my bed. The cold sets in and I miss you. I’ve tried everything I just can’t shake this, I don’t want to be another statistic, So if we had ten minutes to live, Would you give me two? - 04
The Metronome (Niagras Falling)
We are the unwanted Revealed under the lighting That photographs reality The static was falling on empty city streets Off the branches of the sky-scraped trees With leaves of emerald Their knees bled Their knees bled Their knees bled They bled And the metronome of our lives has been broken And our footsteps are loose and un-timed We’re the discarded and disregarded My spirits were high That someone would rescue us From the wreck that we've become Their knees bled Their knees bled Their knees bled Their knees bled - 05This Is Me Destroying You (Transit)
